Best churches to visit in Krakow

Kraków’s two headline churches are Wawel Cathedral on the castle hill, where Polish kings were crowned and buried, and St Mary’s Basilica on the Main Square, with Veit Stoss’s carved altarpiece and the trumpet call from the tower every hour. The city adds the Franciscan basilica with Wyspiański’s stained glass, Corpus Christi in Kazimierz and St Anne’s.
