One ticket covers both cathedrals, the old and the new, which share a wall and are entered through the same door; there is no cheaper single option and none is needed, because the Old Cathedral is the better building. A separate ticket, Ieronimus, opens the medieval towers and the walkways above the vaults, running through the upper galleries of both churches with views down into the naves and out over the town; it is the most interesting thing in Salamanca and takes about an hour.
San Esteban stands at the southern edge of the old centre of Salamanca, five minutes downhill from the two cathedrals, and it is still a working Dominican house. A ticket, sold at the entrance to the cloister, covers the church, the cloisters, the chapter house and the upper choir, and an audio guide is included. The facade can be seen for nothing from the square in front and is the finest thing in the building, so if time is short, stand there for ten minutes.
