The treasury museum beside the upper chapel charges a small ticket and holds the reliquary of the Holy Blood, a silver and gold cylinder of 1617, along with vestments and the paintings given by the Noble Brotherhood. Veneration of the relic happens at fixed times each day, when a priest sits with the phial on a table and visitors may approach and touch it;

Saint Salvator's Cathedral stands on a square in the centre of Bruges, Belgium, a short walk from the Market Square and the Church of Our Lady, and entry to the cathedral is free, while the treasury museum has a small fee. It is the oldest parish church in Bruges and became a cathedral in the nineteenth century, after the original cathedral of Saint Donatian was destroyed during the French Revolution.
